Kentucky Rough Riders
The Kentucky Rough Riders
club proudly sponsors a Teddy Bear friendship project.
We donate Teddy Bears to children living in local homeless and spouse abuse shelters; and we provide bears to law enforcement professionals to be given to children involved in traumatic situations, such as domestic violence calls and vehicle accidents.
Bears include a tag with information about TR
(for whom Teddy Bears are named) and an inspirational quote from our 26th President.
The Kentucky Rough Riders
club sponsors a Public Speaking Contest
for high school seniors,
awarding cash prizes to
support continued education.
The contest is set for May 16, 2015.
Information is available on this site, from high school guidance counselors in Owensboro/Daviess County
and surrounding counties or by writing to
